Step 1: First thing you have to know is that Appcake only works on a jailbroken iOS device. Your device screen will then turn black with lots of messages that you don’t bother to read it. Just wait for a few seconds until you see the button “Return to Cydia”. It usually takes less than 15 seconds to install the repo.

Step 4: You will be redirecting back to the sources section. Tap on the iPhoneCake repo and you will see AppCake+, AppCake+ HD. If you are installing Appcake to iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5 or iPod Touch, tap on the AppCake+ and tap the “Install” on top right. AppCake+ HD is for iPad with HD screen. Confirm your installation and Appcake will be downloaded to your iOS device within a minute depending on your connection speed. Again, tap on the “Return to Cydia” once it is completed.
