Sometimes you will also see the message “Problem with MergeList /var/lib/lists/apt.thebigboss.org_repofiles_cydia_dists_stable_main_binary-iphoneos-arm_Packages”. There is nothing wrong with your jailbreak or your Cydia. This message appears when your Cydia has reached the maximum allowed packages which are 65,535 packages. By default, you will have 40,000+ packages when you install Cydia. These packages are from the default Cydia sources such as BigBoss, ModMyi, iSpazio, Telesphoreo Tangelo, and ZodTTD & MacCiti. So, you are only allowed to add another 25,000+ packages.
Solution: Remove unwanted Cydia sources then you won’t see this error again. To remove a Cydia source, go to Cydia -> Manage -> Sources -> Edit and then you can remove any superfluous Cydia sources. Instead, you can reinstall Cydia.
Cydia Sources Not Working Problem 2
Another common issue that iOS 8 users face is the “Failed to Fetch HTTP/1.1 404 Not Found” error. This error usually appears when the repositories are offline or the developers are updating the repo source code. Thus, you will see this message when you try to add a Cydia repo.
Solution: Wait for a few minutes (perhaps hours depending on the server) and follow how to add a Cydia repo to re-add the Cydia repo you want. If the error still exists, remove UltraSn0w repo.

Solution: Remove those Cydia repos that you think is giving you problems. Otherwise, remove all Cydia repos and see if the problem still exists. If it does, reinstall Cydia and the problem will be fixed.
